خلاصه:

دونا دختر جوانی است که دانش آموز دبیرستان می باشد . او یکروز که به خانه می رود متوجه می شود مادرش بقتل رسیده است و سپس چون صدای قاتل را می شنود و زیر تختش رفته و پنهان می شود . او در دادگاه شهادت می دهد که مادرش توسط یکی از معلمهای مدرسه به اسم ریچارد فنتون بقتل رسیده است . سه سال می گذرد و اکنون دونا درسش تمام شده و بهمراه خاله اش کارن زندگی می کند اما کابوسهای گذشته هنوز او را رها نکرده است . در ادامه دونا ، دوست پسرش بابی و دیگر دوستانشان لیزا ، رونی ، مایکل و کلاری تصمیم می گیرند یک مجلس رقص فارغ التحصیلی ترتیب دهند . اما کاراگاه وین که مسئول رسیدگی به پرونده فنتون بوده متوجه میشود او چند روز قبل از زندان فرار کرده و قصد دارد دونا را پیدا کرده و از او انتقام بگیرد . مجلس رقص در یک هتل شروع می شود اما فنتون قبلاً بطور مخفی وارد هتل شده و یک اتاق در آنجا گرفته است . او در ابتدا سرایدار هتل را کشته و شاه کلید تمام اتاقها را بدست می آورد و بسراغ بچه ها می رود و ابتدا کلاری و سپس مایکل را بقتل می رساند . از سوی دیگر کاراگاه وین بهمراه دستیارش نش با پیدا کردن جسد یک مرد که اتاقی در هتل رزرو کرده بوده پی می برند این قتل کار فنتون است و بنابراین عازم هتل می شوند .
